Garden Route

The Garden Route stretches on the southern coast from Heidelberg to the Tsitsikamma Forest and Storms River.

The coastal towns lay like a string of pearls, nestling against the Indian Ocean. With the mountains on the one side, the amber coloured rivers and golden beaches on the other side, nature displays a breathtaking feast for the eye.

The moderate Mediterranean climate makes it an ideal place for a holiday, whether it be in the mild to chilly winters or the moderately hot summers – all depending on your own taste. The high rainfall, mostly in the winter, makes it a fertile area of lush greenery with vividly coloured wild flowers delighting the eye.
