Bluwater Charters

Spend the day with experienced skippers (with experience in excess of 1000 hours and a SAMSA Skippers Licence) catching Reef fish, Cape Salmon, Cob in the bay, Dorado Bonito and Tuna up to 70 kg. Feast on freshly caught fish, prepared and cooked while you enjoy ice cold beers & other refreshments. A day in the deep exposes you not only to great fishing, but also to the diverse eco system that hosts from dolphins, sharks, whales and the odd marlin to Albatross and a vast array of bird life.

The Fleet

Bluwater (a 30 ft Cobra Cat with fly bridge) is well equipped and offer
all the comforts (bed, toilet, fridge, closed cabin) necessary for entertaining your captivated audience.

Blueyes (a 21 ft Butt Cat) is a boat we use to experience the famous adrenaline rush of launching through the surf. Both boats launch from Port St Francis with the exception of Blueyes that launches from the beach at Jeffreys Bay every now and then.

We also cater for beginners wanting to learn the finer points of fishing in a relaxed and patient atmosphere.

Bluwater is stocked with top of the range Shimano Reels. Line class ratings from 10 kg (20lb), 15 kg (30 lb), 24 kg (50 lb) and 36 kg (80 lb) for Tuna and game fishing. We use wind-on leaders on all our game fishing gear.
